Philip Muscart
Has been been in love with photography all his life, the ability to capture a moment in time and show to others has always fascinated him.
He remembers first seeing the images taken by photographer Nick Ut, of Phan Thi Kim Phuc. Her village had just been napalmed during the Vietnam War, and she was photographed by Ut, fleeing naked and horrifically burned.
A moment in her life had been shared by millions who saw the published images. Her pain, anguish, terror –
If by looking at Phil’s work you feel anything whatsoever other than ‘this is a nice picture’ then he has communicated with you in the same way that Ut did all those years ago.
Phil’s aim as a landscape photographer is to capture images of the countryside as it appears to him at the time, so others can appreciate it’s beauty. He is heavily influenced by water, and often wonders if this has anything to do with his zodiac sign of Aquarius – the water bearer! Look and enjoy. Most of Phil's picutres are taken with the Canon D60 fitted with 28/80 lens and are available to purchase - for details, please mail us .
